Clearwater Country Club is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Clearwater, Florida. The course is conveniently located in downtown Clearwater, minutes from Clearwater Beach and twenty-five minutes from Tampa International Airport.
The Clearwater Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1920. The course was designed by Herbert Strong.
Clearwater Country Club's course offers over 6,200 yards of rolling fairways and towering oaks covered with Spanish moss. Stevenson Creek meanders through the course, coming into play on six holes. Four sets of tees offer an enjoyable test for golfers of any skill level.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6231 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5482 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 508 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 415 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Clearwater Country Club is # 14, a 244 yard par-4.
